M.W.A AESTEHTICS treatment FAQ

So below is a few of the techniques we would like to outline so you know they’re available by M.W.A Aesthetics to gain you the best outcome for your lips.. We offer treatment to suit a range of different styles using the best suited techniques from our advanced training..

Dermal Filling Micro Droplet Technique

“Micro droplets” – Is a specific technique where We inject micro-droplets of hyaluronic acid lip dermal filler in the cupid bow and border of the lips , which distribute minute amounts of product.

The goal is to prevent lumps, and bumps, and create a smooth, uniform finish to have a very subtle results of border enhancement and lip contouring.

This technique focuses on enhancing the shape and volume of the lips. We combine this technique with the Cupid’s Bow method, which is all about enhancing the shape of the cupid’s bow rather than plumping the entire lip area.

Tenting — also known as Russian lip technique and the pillow lips

This specific technique will shape the lips into a subtle heart shape with more volume near the centre, much like a Russian doll.  It tends to lift the lip rather than add excessive volume so its ideal for lip filler newbies or those seeking a natural finish. You will also notice a ‘flatter’ appearance as height is the goal, rather than plumpness. (Although both can be achieved if that is what you desire!)

We inject the product vertically starting at the base of the lip and drawing the product outward toward the lip border. Rather than starting from the lip border and working inward, we work the product from the inside out.

Dermal Filler Fanning technique

This is  a technique in which we can spread the product over a wider area, called fanning. Ina fanning technique, after the needle has passed under the skin, we lay down a linear thread of product as we withdraw the needle. However, instead of removing the needle completely, we simply change the angle of the needle and then create another linear thread of product back towards the entry. We can repeat these threads in a radial pattern. This is what we call the fanning technique- with this technique it requires less entries with the needle and only requires 4 entry points.

Other Dermal Filler treatment techniques
